A collection of eleven papers on contagious diseases of the West Indies which were written over several years & sent to Dr Donald Monro [ 1727 - 1802 ] of Scotland. Six of the letters are by Dr John Quier [ 1739 - 1822 ] and include an accounts of his experiments with small pox and the mass inoculation of slaves at the Worthy Park plantation.
