The biography of English poet Mary (May) Rebie Hazledine (died age 19 in 1912). Some of her poems are included. She was the daughter of Reverend F J Hazledine, who was vicar of St Luke's Church, Ramsgate, Kent from 1905 to 1912. Rev Hazledine had one of the first motorcars in Ramsgate and would give a lift to anyone - this is acknowledged in the book, the car being refered to as the 'parish car'.
