Earl Warren Governor State of California; the A.A.O.N.M.S stands for Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, now Shriners International, attached to Freemasonry and in existence since 1870; the menu including Crab Rosita, mock turtle Amantillado, chicken Souvarov, orange surprise; cover with some light wear; in very good condition.. Image identified & dated, with Underwood credits and information attached, stamp on back as well; Black and white image, 8" x 10" approx. size; some wear, little corner chip at bottom margin; very good condition and an interesting photo for lawn tennis and international sporting history in the early part of the 20th century; L(eslie) A(llison) Godfree (1885-1971) British tennis player of the 1920s, with championship wins in the doubles competitions especially, most famously associated with his 1926 partner win with his wife, Kathleen McKane Godfree - the only husband-wife team to do so in the mixed doubles at Wimbledon; L.A. Godfree was the first to serve on Wimbledon's new courts in 1922.. Very Good.

Paris: Librairie Paul Ollendorff 311 pages; text in French throughout; marbled-paper covered boards, endpapers to match, red leather spine & corners, gilt ruled, decorated gilt spine, gilt titles, top edge gilt; some light wear & rubbing to binding; leaves browned, old dampstain throughout; binding in good condition.. Hard Cover. Good.

Paris: A. Salmon & Ardail Nicely engraved accomplished image of seated woman with long hair holding a rolled document in her hand; image 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" approximate size; 1" + borders; with the "Printed by A. Salmon & Ardail Paris" imprint below the image center; no date but circa 1850s; old dampstaining to top outer edge, could be washed out, does not intrude in inage; few old foxing spots in margins; a strong image, in very good condition.. Very Good.

New York: H. Bailliere, 1855. Original hand-colored plate from Prichard and Norris' Natural History of Man; approx. 5 1/2" x 9" size; slight toning; very good condition.. Very Good.

Washington, D.C.: J.F. Jarvis Sepia-toned stereographic photographic image; two rather rough-looking gentlemen at their campsite, one standing with rifle, looking at game bags hanging from nearby tree, the other sitting in front of tent smoking a pipe, other guns and camp gear visible; no date but circa 1880; title printed in six languages on back; fairly sharp, clear image; some light edge, tips wear, soiling, to mount; very good condition.. Very Good.

Three images by De Menil, whose work was featured in the 2009 Harvard University Peabody Museum press book," Human Documents - Eight Photographers," compiled by Robert Gardner. Three circus-themed images in black and white; approx. 11" x 14" size; one of which is mounted on board, with the studio stamp of the photographer on the back, along with some penciled notations. The other two photographs with no back information or stamps, and evidently of the same series, visually evident by the mounted image of the same tight-rope walker. No date and circa 1960s; some wear to edges, corner wrinkling; nevertheless, in very good condition.. Very Good.

Schulz 'takes' on the "...letters selected (by Bill Adler) in the mailroom of the White House during the winter of 1964. They were chosen from the thousands sent each week to President Lyndon B. Johnson from American children..."; bound in full deep orange morocco leather, gilt Seal of the President of the United States on the front cover, gilt spine titles, contained in a custom made patterned-paper covered slipcase with flocked-cloth lining and leather lined front lip and edges, volume endpapers match slipcase cover; some edge, tips wear and soiling to the case, spine leather darkened a bit, light wear to boards; in very good condition and an interesting "Presidential" binding on this humorous children's book.. First Edition. Leather. Very Good. Illus. by Charles M. Schulz.

Soft Cover. Very Good.
