London, UK: The Pilot Press, 1942. Soft cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 48pp stapled booklet, profusely illustrated in black and white, in paper wrappers. 8vo. Covers a little worn, rubbed at edges, scuffed along spine, of which the top inch or so is cracked. Some mild pencil marks (if you look closely). Internally neat, clean and bright. Binding fragile. The story of Canada and her geography showing the immense resources the country has put towards the war effort, pictures with commentary by Lady Tweedsmuir, wife of the late Lord Tweedsmuir, former Governor General of Canada. A rare survival from war time.

Description:
London: Hodder and Stroughton Limited, 1931. First Popular Edition. Signed and dated (Ottawa 1937) by author on title page. The author is better known to Canadians as Lady Tweedsmuir. Book darkened along edges and on spine, 1/2 inch stain at base of spine, light stains along top and bottom edge, pages darkened. One inch darkened triangular shape on page 147, square shaped 3.5 inch darkened section on second-last page where newspaper clipping has been laid in. Smudge on page 83, 95, and 162. Rust outline of paper clip on rear paste-down, rear flyleaf and endpaper, bookstore's label (1 x 1/4 inch) on rear paste-down, cracked at page 240 but binding firm. Overall, very good minus. . Signed by Author. Hard Cover. Very Good Minus/No DJ. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
