Description:
Atlanta Georgia: Stein Printing Company, 1933. First Edition. . Hardcover. Very Good/None Present. VG/1st edition. A solid copy of the 1933 first edition of John Ben Pate's self published county history. Maroon cloth over boards with gold gilt lettering on front and smaller black lettering down the spine. Some fading on spine and some light rubbing. Corners are still fairly sharp, no breaks in the cloth. Previous owner's name on the top of the front pastedown. Hinges have no breaks-front or back. Pages are clean and all are present. 198 pages, 12 chapters with 2 appendices. Great picture frontis with tissue paper between picture and title page. Several pages of old pictures of residents and buildings and at least one map. Truly a find, comes to you in an archival acid free document bag for storage.
