The only issue with ours is that the dust jacket is price clipped. The spine ends are pushed, there is a small, 1/4" nick to the lower, front cover edge, near the fore edge. It is otherwise very tight and completely unmarked. The dust jacket as noted is price clipped. There is a 1/4" tear to the upper, rear. Rear panel is mildly toned. The upper spine end is crimped. Overall a very clean copy. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .

This is a lesser known title in Sendak's career, before he developed his distinctive style.
