UK,8vo HB+dw/dj,1st edn.[First published July 1953.A 2nd impression in July 1953 and then again a 3rd impression in September 1953 - this edn.] NFINE/NFINE.No owner inscrptn and no price-clip to dw/dj.Bright, crisp,clean,matt,wrap-around colour pictorial illustrated dw/dj with cream/yellow lettering; with negligible shelf-wear or creasing to edges and corners - no major nicks or tears present.Dw/dj was once,at some stage,with a now removed,protective covering as there are sellotape 'ghost' residual marks to the front+rear free endpapers,But,as a result of it's one time presence,the dw/dj has been well protected showing little sign of rubbing/chipping,shelf-wear etc.,since it's removal. Internally though,along with the inner flaps are all noticeably foxed/ spotted.
