Spine has been stabilized, else content appears as unread and unblemished with near fine Dark Green/Gold Gilt cloth covered boards displaying minimal surface/edge wear, as shown.Beautiful drawings of the animals, and fun but informative paragraphs about each one. I occasionally came across inaccuracies, like for example, the mention that Tasmanian devils follow thylacines around while they hunt. Thylacines were declared extinct over a decade before this book was published, so apparently the author missed the memo. The author was also quite blasé about many subjects that are (thankfully) taboo these days, such as fur poaching, circus animals, and animal testing.
