Good (+). 9 Cms x 14.5 Cms. viii+233, light red tinted edges; very early gift inscription to front endpaper, name label 'Westbury' to front pastedown, otherwise internally clean, tight and unmarked; cover rubbed to all edges and extremeties, top 2 cms spine missing though rest of gilt panelled spine and title label good. This popular work went through numrous editions from early in the century, this seems to date from late 1860s or 1870s (inscription refers to remembrance of 8th May 1861).
