Octavo; publisher's cloth, yellow topstain, in yellow pictorial dust jacket retaining original price ($2.00); [8],237pp. Moderate wear to jacket extremities including a few shallow chips and closed tears occasionally touching text without loss of meaning, spine panel toned, shallow damp stain the length of front panel fore-edge and front flap not bleeding into cloth, corners bumped, textblock a shade toned, else a Very Good or better copy in Very Good dust jacket.
Novel based on the 1938 film of the same title, itself based on the characters and scenarios created by Brand. Dr. Kildare proved and enormously popular creation and went on to feature in nine novels before the author's death in 1944.
