About This Item

New York: Dutton , 1995. First American Edition (Za585). Hardcover (with Dust Jacket). Very Good. 8vo (224 pages, illustrated with color and black and white photographs, drawings, etc.). Winston Churchill's formative years are re-examined by his granddaughter utilizing a great deal of never-before-published material from family archives. This First American edition copy is inscribed, signed and dated by the author in black marker on the title page: “To -- With very best wishes, Celia Sandys, 1st November 1995, New York.” This is a very good copy of the First American edition, in an unclipped dust jacket that has a few closed quarter-inch tears on the front face and minor edge wear; else fine.
