E-281: John C. Winston. Very Good in Very Good- dust jacket. 1959. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. Hardcover 8vo. John C. Winston, Philadelphia, PA. 1958. 203 pgs. First Edition/First Printing. James Heugh designed DJ has shelf-wear present (DJ is lightly rubbed and worn with chipping present to the crown and heel of the DJ). Bound in yellow cloth boards with titles present to the spine. Boards have light shelf-wear present to the extremities. No ownership marks present. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. The copper-yellow glow of the comet seemed to have brought the whole world to a grinding halt. Airplanes, trains, generators and heavy machinery were immobilized. Finally man was left with only a few primitive tools. In the resulting chaos parts of Mayfield were burned and looted by hunger-crazed mobs that stole and killed as they advanced. EB; 203 pages .
