Chicago, IL: Henry Regnery Company, 1957. Presumed first edition/first printing. Hardcover. Fair in fair dust jacket. Signed by author. DJ has wear, soiling, edge tears and chips. DJ had gotten moisture inside, with stains to DJ and to book cover. Some damp stains to the bottom of the book also.. 312 p. 22 cm. The author was the nephew of General George Patton. Unable to join the Army, he joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He served as an intelligence and security office to the U. S. Economic and Military Aid Mission to Greece during a critical time during the early years of the Cold War (addressed by the President under what was called The Truman Doctrine).
