(Tr) Among the contributors to this work were Sir Edward Sullivan, Lord Brassey, R. T. Pritchett, Sir George Leach, The Earl of Pembroke and Montgomery, The Marquis of Dufferin and Ava, etc. This work is important to the field of yachting, covering as it does every aspect of the sport. It also provides an interesting view of the British and European yachting scene at the close of the nineteenth century.
