Fair. 1853 SEVENTH EDITION INCOMPLETE, 5 of 6 volumes ~ needing rebinding. Leather covers detached but present. Spine leather loss: 1/3rd of vol. 1, 1/8th of vol 5, 1/6th of vol. 3. Corner bumps, edge wear. Toning, esp. to endpapers, with lovely steel engraving ghosts on tissue guards and facing pages. Five raised bands orginally on each vol. Title compartments all complete and gilt embossed in black field VG. Volume compartments all visible except Vol. I, which reads merely "I."
