London: John Kensit, Protestant Publisher, n.d. Hardcover. Very Good. No Edition Remarks. 858 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine. Black and white illustrated frontispiece. Front hinge is slightly cracked with exposed netting; similarly cracked at pg. 513. Moderate crinkling to gutters however binding remains firm. Pages are moderately tanned with noticeable foxing to endpapers. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces as well as moisture stains. No interior marks except an old penciled price and note on half-title page. Photo is of the copy here at Barbed Wire Books.
