The story of the square-rigged merchant marine of British North America, the ships, their builders and owners, and the men who sailed them. New York:George Sully & Company. nd, ca:1924.  xviii+337pp.  Illustrated.  Hardcover.  Blue boards with title in gilt on spine are lightly soiled and shelfworn, with wear along edges, spine ends and edge points. Page edges soiled. Internally, end pages are foxed, with additional foxing scattered throughout (but heaviest at first and last pages), but free of previous owners marks or signatures. There is a small bookseller's ticket at the bottom edge of the inside-rear board. The binding is tight with hinges intact.
