Illustrated with twelve colour plates and nearly three hundred illustrations. Collated complete. A detailed guide to many of the wonders of the world with chapters on: mountains, insects, planets, trees, birds, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, seeds, nature, cathedrals, x-rays, temples, technology, flying, and much more. Edited by Harry Golding, a British writer and editor. In the original quarter cloth binding with pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, smart with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd mark to the board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light spotting to the first and last few pages. Contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
