Berkeley: Parnassus Press, 1968. First US Edition/Early Printing. Hardcover. Fair/Good. The second state of the first book in The Earthsea Trilogy. Ex-library edition in teal pictorial cloth with tape shadows to tops and bottoms of boards. Cloth worn through at three corners and head of spine which is slightly cocked. Bump to heel of spine. Sticker removal scar and shadow to top of ffep which has library pocket. Stamp to dedication page. Security sticker device to rear pastedown. Jacket has '11up' on flap and sticker shadows and scarring towards bottom of spine, otherwise, light wear.
Synopsis
A Wizard of Earthsea, first published in 1968, is the first of a series of books written by Ursula K. Le Guin and set in the fantasy world archipelago of Earthsea depicting the adventures of a budding young wizard named Ged. The tale of Ged's growth and development as he travels across Earthsea continues in The Tombs of Atuan and The Farthest Shore and is supplemented in Tehanu and The Other Wind.
