New York: Pocket Books, Inc., 1990. This Stated First Printing from January 1990 also has the required number line ending in a "1". Both the book and the unclipped dust jacket are in Fine condition. This true crime in the heart of suburbia (the Florida Redlands) involved an International House of Pancakes, an alcoholic waitress, her obsession for a gay manager, the manager's ill-fated llover and IHOP owner, and two unlikely hit men. The book also deals with the issue of capital punishment, since the waitress, Dee Casteel, was the first woman in Florida sentenced the electric chair. The book is bound in red-orange boards with black spine cloth and gilt lettering. I've placed the dust jacket into a Brodart protective sleeve. The book measures 6 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches and includes 252 pages. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Fine/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
