Gilt lettering and decoration on spine. Bumping to leather corners which are worn. Edgewear to bottom and fore edges. Chipping to tail. Bottom of front joint cracking to 3cm. Hinges are sound. Duodecimo: 190 x 130mm. Appletons' Town and Country Library No. 192. Mrs. Alexander was the pseudonym for the Irish author Anne French Hector (1825-1902).
