Portland: Thomas Bird Mosher, 1918. Hardcover. Near fine/good. Limited to 500 copies. Printed on Van Gelder hand-made paper. Near fine in a good jacket and poor slipcase, which has the spine-back present though detached and split at the lower edge. The plain paper jacket is toned and chipped. Blue paper on the boards with a tan pastedown on the spine. Square and firmly bound. The product of a labor of love on Thomas Bird Mosher's part. He concludes his Preface by mentioning, "When the dawn of our renewed civilisation comes, as indeed it cannot fail to come, I would like to hav erecorded that I helped trasmit these Medieval Latin Students' Songs to other hearts and other times, where song an singer shall be made as safe as Democracy and as enduring.
