About This Item
A lovely first printing of the first American edition (Little Brown Boston [1971]) and the basis of the landmark 1983 miniseries. This book is signed by author Herman Wouk directly on the second title page. The book is in near fine condition with some marks on the board edges and the rear end paper but no remainder marks, a tight and square binding, with no owner inscriptions or highlighting and no staining. The dust jacket is in good only condition, not price-clipped ($10.00), but with numerous creases, chips and tears. It is now protected by an archival cover which is easily removable. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information concerning this very collectible book, scarce when signed. Now offered in its original jacket at a reduced price, it would certainly benefit from a donor jacket in better condition.
Synopsis
Follows the various members of the Henry family as they become involved in the events preceeding America's involvement in World War II.
