Hodder & Stoughton, 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. No Edition Remarks. 308 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth. Pages are lightly tanned with mild foxing throughout. Occasional thumb-marking present. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Previous owner's inscription and white staining to front pastedown and free endpaper. Slight cracking to front hinge. Light scuffing to text-block edges. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends with small splits. Light tanning to spine and edges. Scuffing and light marking overall. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning.
