About This Item
Hollis & Carter, 1952. 1st Edition. 18.9 x 25.2 cm blue cloth with gilt stamped titles to the front and spine. (viii) 142(1)pp with 16 colour plates, black and yellow decorative title page and black and white line drawn chapter headings. With original unclipped dust jacket priced at 18s net. A very good book with some fading to the spine and edges, more so at the spine tips. Internally clean, without name, inscription or bookplate and just a little toning and spotting to both endpapers. The dust jacket, which is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown), has some minor loss to the foot of the spine and corners of up to 0.5 cm with a little additional surface abrasion on the spine tips and edges an a touch of creasing. A very presentable copy. Rainford & Parris Books welcomes enquiries, so please do not hesitate to ask if you require further images or have any questions. All books are packaged with great care.
