Brilliant black and white illustrations by Keeping throughout, text printed green. A weird and frightening East Anglian tale beautifully told by a captured merman and based on a few lines in a chronicle written in the reign of Henry II. No inscriptions, a touch of shelf wear to lower edges of covers, a near Fine copy in near Fine DUSTWRAPPER, not price clipped, slightly rubbed at upper corner of upper panel (see image).
