New York; London: D. Appleton-Century Company, 1935. SIGNED FIRST EDITION, first printing. This includes a tipped in postcard from the author which reads: "July 1, 1935. Dear Mrs. Nice, Mr. Wkware, of the D.Appleton-Century, in a letter just received, says that they shall be very glad to send you a rev1ew copy of 'Wild Birds at Home'. In one chapter I noticed one textual error to which it behooves me to call your attention; p. 15, line 6 from top, "late sprint" should read early april. With best wishes, Very sincerely, Francis H. Herrick". Owl bookplate of Fred J. Pierce. Dated at bottom corner in ink May 28, 1935. Gilding at spine a little muted and top of page edges spotted. Review of book pasted behind back cover. Overall a VERY GOOD PLUS book. . Signed by Author. First Edition. Full Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hardcover.
