About This Item
329 Pages. Seven Seas Edition.
This classic piece of Jack London's wonderful literature comes in green boards with gold lettering on the spine. The exterior of the book has lightly worn spots on all four corners, at the top and bottom of the spine and on the back cover some red ink staining on the bottom right quarter of the cover. The interior book has numerous small page tears (mostly repaired) and a few stains, but outside of that has no other visible extraneous markings, other detriments, or distractions throughout it, thus all of the printing and the front illustration are in a preserved and enjoyable condition and the bindings, though inside the front cover, the top part of them are separating, remain otherwise tight.
If you should order this classic novel about the great Northwest, it will be carefully wrapped up, then boxed and padded, and mailed right away to you with insurance, and will come with our honest appreciation for your order.
Synopsis
White Fang is the title of a novel by American author Jack London. The novel was first serialized in The Outing Magazine in May to October 1906. It is the story of a wild wolfdog's journey toward becoming civilized in Yukon Territory, Canada, during the Klondike Gold Rush at the end of the 19th century. White Fang is a companion novel (and a thematic mirror) to London's best-known work, The Call of the Wild, which concerns a kidnapped civilized dog turning into a wild animal.
