Synopsis

Carolyn Wheat , a former defense attorney with the Legal Aid Society in Brooklyn, New York, is the author of four previous Cass Jameson novels, including Where Nobody Dies , the Edgar Award-nominated Dead Man's Thoughts , Fresh Kills and the Edgar Award-nominated Mean Streak . Her short story, "Life, for Short" published in the collection Sisters in Crime 4 , was nominated for a Macavity Award, and her short story, "Accidents Will Happen" published in the collection Malice Domestic 5 was nominated for an Agatha Award.
