Signed in pencil on the blank front page by Eliza Orne White.<p>
Included is a letter from Eliza Orne White to Miss Florence Poor,
included is the envelope, has a large tear on the front. The letter
has writing that is initialed O. R. W. and most of the letter is typed
with corrections , typed

Connie Moran and a full page color front piece of Esther
with her dolls<p>
This is the story of Esther, a little girl who was the daughter
of the Reverend Warren Whitmore. The story is of her childhood in New England around the time of the War between the States.
She took trips to Boston and heard Dickens read from his books.
Nice historical book.
