The text is illustrated with numerous black-and-white film stills, photographs and illustrations. Burgundy coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. The author's study of the werewolf  lycanthropy  as depicted in film, legend, fact and art. Rubbing of the book edges and a little to the book panels. There are some stains to the back strip. Spotting to the top text edge with little age toning of the other text edges. Offset tanning to the end pages with very light age toning of the pages. A previous owner has cut out and illustration of a werewolf attacking a man and attached it to the verso of the title page. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [11], 12 - 240 pages,.
