Edinburgh: William Blackwood and Sons. Good with no dust jacket. 1869. First Edition. Hardcover. Three volume set. First edition. Hard covers published by William Blackwood and Sons in 1869. No dust jackets. Three-quarter leather with marbled boards and 5 raised bands and gilt lettering on each spine. Edges of spines are rubbed and worn, corners of covers are bumped and worn, with some splitting, and ends of spine have some wear. Marbled endpapers, and each inside front cover has a bookplate. Top edges of pages are gilt-covered. Pages have some tanning and some pages have staining. Leather on the upper back corner of Vol. 3 is torn. Books are in good minus condition. 1067 pages, 3.6 lb. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall .
