Blue cloth boards with white stamped title and gilt stamped author on front board and spine; corners bumped and slightly rubbed; spine and top edge sunfaded; top edge of text block is red but significantly faded. Some foxing on first free end paper along with previous owner's name; slight toning; else interior clean. Walter Van Tilburg Clark (1909 - 1971) was an American writer and educator; two of his novels were made into films.
