Small nicks to board edges, some edge soiling. This campaign biography of Warren G. Harding was published after the Republican National Convention which nominated Harding as a candidate for the 1920 election. A partial list of chapter titles give the flavor of this laudatory book: A Man of " Manifest Destiny, " A Blue-eyed Babe in Blooming Grove, The Hardings a Hardy Breed, Character the Reality of a Man, The Record of a Four-square Leader, and A Sturdy Champion of Americanism. One chapter chronicles Harding's relation to Theodore Roosevelt (pp. 95-98).
