The spines are discoloured with mottled patches; the spine heads are torn; some of the spines are also a little cocked; a few leading corners are bumped. Tanning and a few minor marks on the page blocks. Bookplate (of a private gentlemen's club member) on each front pastedown. Vol. 2 has a small label on the rear pastedown; most of the other volumes have label remains on the rear pastedowns. Occasional creased edges and light marks on the pages.
