In later brown cloth binding with original leather panels and gilt vignettes mounted on front and rear boards. Later leather spine label. Full gilt page edging. In very good condition. Later cloth binding with original leather board decorations. Later endpapers. Bookplate to front “Count Charles de Salis.” Some mild foxing to plates, moderate foxing to frontis and engraved title page. Some staining to bottom corner of pages. Binding tight and sound. Map has a couple of minor spots else clean and bright. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 268pp + index. Illustrated 48 B&W engravings, including decorative title page and vignettes, and a map of the Wye Valley (p124.) SOUTH WALES ONLY. (Does NOT include Northern Section.)
