About This Item

Univ of Texas Pr, 1984. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Nice copy in jacket (has slightest hints of wear to edges). Love poetry.

Synopsis

Faulkner was more known for this novels than his poetry. Vision in Spring is a sequence of fourteen love poems. Faulkner wrote Vision in Spring, bound it by hand, and gave it to his fiancee, Estelle Oldham Franklin, during the summer of 1921. Faulkner’s daughter recovered a photocopy of these poems, and the University of Texas Press published Vision in Spring in 1984.
