Oversized red cloth boards with gilt lettering; bw illustrated frontispiece; XII, 337 pp; bw plates with descriptive guard sheets. Not dated but appears to be published approx 1866-1868. Translated by the Rev. Henry Francis Cary, M.A., and illustrated with the designs of M. Gustave Dore. With critical and explantory notes. Includes bibliographical references.
