Ex officina Ianssoniana, 1642. Leather. 423 pages. 3 by 5-1/4 inches. Text in Latin. By the Roman poet Virgil (70-19BCE). Leatherbound with all edges gilt. Spine with four raised bands and decorated in gold with red label. Marbled endpapers. Short tidemarks to page edges. Bound with a green silk bookmarker. Small holes to the bottom corners of pages. Marginalia on one page (pictured). A nice, square copy.
