A scarce copy of Xiaolu Guo's Village of Stone, being an uncorrected proof copy of the first English edition Translated from the original Chinese by Cindy Carter. In original illustrated paper wraps. Externally, generally smart with only some very light bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound, bright and generally clean throughout, though with small instances of spotting. Very Good
Synopsis
Xiaolu Guo was born in a fishing village in the south of China in 1973. She was awarded an MA in Film from the Beijing Film Academy and has worked as a novelist, screenwriter and filmmaker. She now lives in England.
