Jones, featuring reminiscences, discursive and anecdotal memories. Sir Lawrence Evelyn Jones was an English writer known for his light verse and humorous prose. Complete with dust wrapper, price clipped to 'An Edwardian Youth' and 'I Forgot to Tell You.' Unclipped to others. Frontispiece to Vol. I 'A Victorian Boyhood.' In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only. Previous ownership ink inscription to front free endpaper vols I, II, and IV dated 1968 and 1983. Dust wrapper excellent with light wear to extremities only, occasional handling mark to wraps. Margaret Conquer bookplate to front pastedown vol. IV. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
