Edinburgh: David Douglas, 1891. Hardcover. Good. 8vo, xxiv + pp314 plus 2 page colour map to rear in very good condition and 14 b/w engravings by Annan and Swan some of which original works by J.G. Millais and photographs by Mr W. Norrie all with tissue guards. Hardcover no dust jacket. Original green buckram binding with gilt titles to spine in good condition with some sunning and shelf wear to spine and a few small nicks to boards. Inside two previous owners bookplates to front paste down, spine cracked to pp208/209 however binding holding perfectly. A few spots of foxing throughout mostly to the outer side of the plates. A scarce book.
