Boston and New York: Houghton, Mifflin and Company, 1892. Hardcover. Very Good. Two Volumes 12mo., 289pp. 287pp. Sharp Later Printing, bound in full cream vellum, triple gilt rules and titles and decoration in gilt on front board and spine. Decorated end-papers. All edges gilt. 18 tissue-guarded water-colors including frontis illustrations. Square, tight and clean throughout with just a hint of page edge toning. A touch of wear to spine ends but quite minor. Toning to boards on volume I, particularly to the spine. A couple of pages roughly opened. Remnants of bookplates on both the front and rear end-paper of volume II. A very pleasing collectable set at a great price.
