Reprint, 8vo, pp. xxii, [23]-517; additional engraved half title page, full-page text illustrations and maps; original green gilt-tooled decorative cloth, yellow glazed endpapers; edges quite worn, especially at spine ends; front pastedown damaged from partially removed bookplate, ownership signature in purple pencil on front free endpaper, foxing throughout; a good, sound copy. Sabin 36014: "Mr. Jenkins was an industrious literary hack, and his works possess as much merit as most books of their class."
