The story of the Canadian airmen who served in the Second World War, flying Hawker Typhoons, and later, Hawker Tempests. The author has included a chapter on the design and construction of the planes, and operational records of the squadrons. Throughout the text there are biographical sketches of the pilots. And, the appendices include; a list of casualties with name, rank, home city, and date of casualty. There is also a list of those taken prisoner. And, there is a record of the aircraft with notes on the ultimate fate of each. A very good copy in 'has been read' condition. The dust jacket has edge wear and a short tear.
