[1975]. Manuscript. Near Fine. TYPED MANUSCRIPT (5 pages) of the Introduction to his book of poetry HARD FACTS. Baraka has made several alterations and additions in the text including about 50 words in his hand at the bottom of the fourth page: "The year the class struggle in Blk America became clear & open Segregation [?] & the productive forces loosed in on oppressed [?] just enough to create a vicious verticality, an oppressive class, in collaboration w/ the big bourgeosie who now sat in the white house openly & picked their toes."
