Boston:Lee and Shepard Publishers., 1875. hard cover. Very Good/No jacket. Boston:Lee and Shepard Publishers. 1875. Early edition. 288pp. Illustrated. Hardcover. Green covers, with gilt decoration on spine strip still bright, lightly soiled and shelfworn, with wear along edges, spine ends and edge points worn to boards.  Internally, yellow end-pages age toned but free of previous owners marks or signatures. Pages age toned but aside from an occasional smudge or spot of foxing, in very good condition. The binding is tight with hinges intact but a few signatures working loose.
