Illustrated silver soft cover/NF w/trace corner tip wear & faint creasing to lower front. History of Park City, some 30 miles southeast of downtown Salt Lake City. One of few Utah towns established by non-Mormons, it first made its mark as a mining community in 1870 with the discovery of lead, gold, and silver in the area. Virtually destroyed by by fire in 1898 the city rebuilt itself, then to be reduced to a ghost in the 1950s' silver crash. Today it stands as an affluent & lively resort town, and hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics. A town with a fascinating history and ability to reinvent itself. Strong copy.
