A excellent copy of this work of Victorian photography, featuring the art of the notable photographer and keen international traveller Francis Frith. In the publisher's original cloth binding, held in the original slipcase. This profusely illustrated volume features the photography of Francis Firth. Francis Frith was a English photographer, celebrated for his international photography in particular his images from the Middle East. With the text compiled and edited by Roger Hudson. A pleasing copy of this work of Victorian photography, giving a wonderful glimpse into Britain and British tourism in the 19th century. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally excellent. Held in the original slipcase, which is very smart, with minor shelfwear, with paper lifting to the tail of the bottom edge of the slipcase. Internally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. The slipcase is near fine. Fine
