Illustrated endpapers; dozens of b/w photos throughout the text. From the Preface by R. D. Cooney, Chairperson, B.C. Transit: "The year 1990 marks a very special anniversary. It was exactly 100 years ago that the first electric street railways opened for business in Victoria and Vancouver, inaugurating the history of public transit in British Columbia."
Red pictorial d.j. with White lettering on front and back, as well as on the spine. There is a repaired tear on the front edge of the spine and a little way into the front of the d.j., corresponding with the puncture mentioned under the "binding description".
